If Nickelback aren't behind bars, I must insist that someone in authority arrest them and incarcerate them. I want all 'covers' of their fraud song wiped out from the internet. The cowardly business has had enough fun with their theft. Now I know why I have such a hard time trying to get my act off the ground in Vancouver. Here they insist on supporting local bands, like Nickelback, that stole my music. Then these bands turn around and interfere with my progress. Does anyone recall that report of Nickelback playing a show in Newfoundland in 2011 that was spoiled by a thunderstorm? It was shortly after I reposted that comedy sketch about a reincarnated Hitler that wanted to wipe out 'Newfies'. My show was written with a pure motive, to make my readers laugh, but Nickelback probably wanted to seize upon my 'Newfie' reference to try to stir up hate against me. They're just like the Crystalids, only noisier. Did anyone recall how we already had this debate over Nickelback's theft of my music in 2007? The broadcast people hoped that you all forgot it. Nickelback were on the way out, then suddenly they released my music and got a seven year extension of their career. It's important that you know what inspired my This Fool's Paradise, so I'm going to state it directly: this song came from precisely the same stupid argument against capitalism that I was forced to initiate in 2007 in an identically titled blog. The fool in my fool's paradise would be bands like Nickelback and their capitalist sponsors, who are so shallow in their greed that they can't appreciate beauty and need to supplant it with ugly, stinking fraud. And do you see how pathetic my wealthy oppressors truly are? When I write a song about their character flaws and it gets popular on the web, all they can do is steal it and prove my point. They know they can't win fairly, so they cheat. Why are they in positions of responsibility? In 2007, I usually included bass and drums in my MovieMaker recordings, which I bounced all onto one track from the narration track. This song sounded awesome when I shared it in 2007 and made me want to buy a better computer for multi-tracking. 2007 was when women first started calling me 'a band'. Do you remember this? I must ask because I know that one of the ways broadcast signals impair brain function is with memory loss, which might be specifically targeted, in my case. |
